Journal for Aspiring White Anti-Racists

We created this journal recognizing the growing desire of white people to be intentional in showing up alongside Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) to help dismantle systemic racism and move toward collective liberation. This journal is a judgment-free, safe, brave space to work through your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. It's a tool to support you in the reflection needed to change our deeply held beliefs, break old habits, and build new ones. It has three journaling sections, each with cycles of several prompts to guide you in your journey in anti-racism: 

My Past: What I Learned, to uncover messages around race you have internalized. 

My Present: What I’m Unlearning & Learning, to release harmful beliefs and learn new perspectives.

My Future: What I’m Building, to plan and reflect on anti-racist actions you can take and are taking. 

Additional resources include non-comprehensive lists of definitions, racial justice resources, and call script templates. This journal also has Self-Care pages to check in with how you’re doing and what you need to sustain yourself.
